Natalie H. Kossak

Natalie H. Kossak joined IFS in February 2006 after more than seven years of private practice representing both private and public companies on a wide range of employee benefits, employment and executive compensation matters. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Kossak worked for the United States Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Division, which administers and enforces ERISA, as an investigator.

Ms. Kossak assists the General Counsel in overseeing IFS' internal legal affairs. In addition, Ms. Kossak supports the legal and governance analysis on Operational Review projects and fiduciary decision-making transactions. Having worked with clients on labor and benefits issues arising under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code in the context of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and liquidations and day-to-day business, she brings to IFS her experience working and to solve complex benefits-related problems.

Ms. Kossak graduated With Distinction from Hofstra University School of Law where she was a member of the Law Review after receiving her undergraduate degree and magna cum laude from Binghamton University. Ms. Kossak is a member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. She works from IFS' Newark, New Jersey office.
