Jeffrey M. Covell, CFA

Assistant Vice President

Based in Washington, D.C., Mr. Covell is responsible primarily for working with the firm's retainer investment consulting clients on such matters as asset allocation, investment manager due diligence, manager searches and performance analysis and attribution.

Prior to re-joining IFS as an Assistant Vice President in March 2008, Mr. Covell worked as an Investment Analyst for a public pension fund, where he was among one of three investment professionals responsible for a $4.5 billion investment program. He worked on various investment matters including manager searches, asset allocation studies, risk allocation studies, and performance reviews of managers.

From May 2005 through January 2007, Mr. Covell worked as an Analyst at IFS, where he assisted in manager evaluations and asset allocation studies for clients. Mr. Covell began his career at Delaware Investments where he worked in institutional client service and fund accounting.

Mr. Covell graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance Concentration). He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
